Short comics rooted in folklore, travel journals, and the odd dream you remember just well enough to draw.
The pages often begin as travel notes: overheard conversations on trains, postcards that never got mailed, and Tamil folklore retold from family memories. I work in ink and wash, then scan and color digitally for print and web.
Ongoing series
- Quiet Cities — silent comics about infrastructure and the people who keep it running.
- Moonlit Folktales — reimagined stories from Tamil Nadu, illustrated as 4-page shorts.
- Sketch Nomad inserts — comics stitched into sketchbooks from backpacking trips.
Formats
Pages are released as risograph-friendly zines, web scrolls, and limited prints. Longer stories are compiled into small-run books once a year.
Requests for reprints or collaborations are welcome.
